The magic has begun in Melbourne’s East End Theatre District. As Harry Potter and The Cursed Child has returned to Melbourne's Princess Theatre after a year's break due to Covid! Melbourne is the first city in the world to recommence performances after the show was halted in London, New York and San Francisco.
The two-part play follows Harry as an adult, now working at the Ministry of Magic, while his own son, Albus, is about to attend Hogwarts. It was written by Jack Thorne and based on the best-selling book series written by JK Rowling in 2016.
