Every dancer is given personal attention. All our teachers are current or former professional dancers in the industry. Classes at Danceworks Sydney promote healthy wellbeing through quality training. Good training from the beginning lays the foundation enabling a structured progression to higher levels of achievement. Our teachers are qualified and trained in safe dance practice. Following a professional career in Europe, Director Olivia Jenkins completed a 3 month intensive course at the Royal Academy of Dance headquarters in London focused on teaching methods and safe dance practice. She is now studying for a Diploma in Adult Dance Practice. Danceworks Sydney is committed to teaching using healthy techniques adapted to the individual growth and strength of each dancer. We offer complementary classes such as Body Conditioning and Progressing Ballet Technique to prevent injury and ensure dance longevity. Common to many schools is the over over sexualisation of children in dance routines and costumes. This does not happen at Danceworks Sydney. Instead we train dancers to be versatile in many styles with age appropriate choreography. Each dancer is given personal attention and encouraged to become confident and to become the best dancer they can
